Apple Snicker Salad

I love apples and there was a period of time when I ate way too many Snicker candy bars.  However, the first time I was told about the Apple Snickers Salad I was quite sure the person misspoke. Then I thought, would this dish be classified as a dessert or a salad? Another thought that popped into my head is that dishes like this is just one of the reasons why many dentists are so wealthy. LOL!

It turns out that the Apple Snickers Salad is a very popular dish. A quick internet search yields tons of recipes for the  Apple Snickers Salad, Snickers Salad, Candy Bar Salad,…  Here’s just one of the many related recipes I found – it’s the Healthier Apple and Snicker Salad, by SparkRecipes.


  • Fat-free cool whip (1 container)

  • Granny Smith apples (3 large)

  • Skim milk (3 1/4 cup)

  • Snicker bars (4 regular sized)

  • Sugar-free and fat-free instant vanilla pudding (2 boxes)


  • Mix the skim milk and instant pudding together.  Let this pudding sit in the refrigerator while preparing the remainder of the recipe ingredients.

  • Slice the apples into 1 inch pieces.

  • Remove the pudding from the refrigerator.

  • Fold the whip cream into the pudding.

  • Add the apples into the pudding.

  • Chop the Snicker bars into 1/2 inch pieces.

  • Mix the Snicker bars into the pudding.

Number of Servings: 16
